brain_animated_color_nevit.gifGame or psychiatric test?

When you hear the word “apple,” what comes to mind? And what do you think of when you hear “shoe?”

No, I’m not conducting a psychiatric evaluation! I’m preparing you for a fun game of word association.

At the Human Brain Cloud, you can play a massively multi-player word association game. You’ll be presented with a word. Just type the first thing that comes to mind.

You can see how your association matches other players’ answers. I wouldn’t view the results as an indication of your psychological condition. But you can see how “normal” you are.

If you get bored, view the cloud. You can see a word’s associations, as determined by other players. It’s fascinating!

That just might be happening to me. It’s scary. You see, I never read the “terms”; I just click on “agree”. Do you? We just might be cell mates some day.

Calling all wordsmiths

July 6, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Let’s play a game; after all it is Friday.

Okay, here are the rules. You come up with a word, give its dictionary definition — drum roll please — then, you give your own definition to the word. Got it? Simple, no?

I”ll start since no one is here at the moment to argument with me.

Bifurcate: to divide into two branches (source: www.dictionary.com)

Bifurcate by CanadianChristine: what needs to be done when Kathleen’s birthday rolls around — you “bifurcate”.

Now wasn’t that fun?

Rolling right along, I wait with bait on my breath for you, my readers and fellow wordsmithies, to provide either another Daffy definition

or to propose a woid of your own.
